Camp Monterey’s Alumnae Association is open to anyone who has ever been a camper or staff member at Camp Monterey. It is a great way to stay connected to Camp and your Camp friends, introduce Camp to others, support our scholarship program, and join in Camp special events.

Camp Monterey — since 1945

Camp Monterey is a magical place - like heaven on earth - where each girl is given a chance to make her own way, to discover new skills, to take responsibility, to strengthen fine traits — a place where cares and self-consciousness fade away in an atmosphere of fun, where life-long friendships are built, where traditions are cherished, and girls learn by example. Camp has been so blessed by its campers and staff, all who have lived in these cabins and walked these paths. If you have been part of Camp Monterey for any time at all, you brought with you the gift of the friendships you made there, leaving Camp Monterey stronger and richer for all of its 79 years… and counting!

Camp Monterey’s Alumnae Association

Since Camp’s founding in 1945, thousands of girls have enjoyed the activities of Camp and made lasting friendships. Each year, Camp Monterey Alumnae get together to celebrate these memories. We hold reunions every five years where alumnae are invited back to Camp, and we hold an annual Mother/Daughter weekend for women with girls not yet old enough to be campers to get a taste of Camp. If you would like to add your name to our Alumnae Association, send us an email. We would love to hear from you!

Mark your calendars for Camp Monterey’s 80th summer and our next Alumnae Reunion in 2025! We hope to see you all back at Camp for this special weekend!

Mother/Daughter Weekend

Camp Monterey’s Alumnae Mother/Daughter Weekend is open to mothers, or mother figures, and daughters who are not yet campers as a way to experience Camp. There is no better way to understand the magic of Monterey than to see it in person! This special weekend happens during the Camp season so that the girls can see camp in action. You will sing in the Dining Hall, cheer for your teams, participate in activities, sleep in a cabin together, and learn all about life at Monterey. We might even have a campfire or gaze at the stars. All new families will be paired with an Alumnae Mother/Daughter team for the weekend to introduce them to a Camp Monterey summer. (You can also choose to stay in town if that is preferred.)

 Scholarship Fund

The Dollie S. Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund was created in honor of Camp Monterey’s founder, “Miss Dollie,” as a way to give the gift of Camp to girls in need of financial assistance.  Donations can be made to the “Dollie S. Williams Memorial Scholarship Fund” and sent directly to Camp at any time.  For families requesting tuition assistance, please contact the Camp office and we will be happy to speak with you.
